UTZ Certified

The Utz certified program enables to achieve sustainable agricultural supply chains where farmers are professionals implementing good practices which lead to better business, where the food industry takes responsibility by demanding and rewarding sustainable grown coffee, and where consumers buy products which meet their standard for social and environmental responsibility. To date Nedcoffee successfully contributed to the certification in countries such as Vietnam, India, and Ivory Coast.

Rainforest Alliance

Nedcoffee is closely collaborating with Rainforest Alliance and farmers for the development of certified sustainable coffee to promote and guarantee improvements in agriculture and forestry. The independent seal of approval ensures that goods and services were produced in compliance with strict guidelines protecting the environments, wildlife, workers and local communities.

4C

Nedcoffee has successfully certified small farmer in Vietnam under this certification program. The objective is to achieve a baseline level of social, ecological and economic sustainability for mainstream coffee, so all types of coffee, all coffee production systems and all coffee producers. Baseline level means, that producers exclude worst practices and achieve an average level of sustainability as a start.
